Key Community Collaborators

Our ethos is to work closely with the local community, and below are some of our current key collaborators:

Donegal Equine - 2-1

Emotional Wellbeing

The Uplift Project is proud to collaborate with Devine Equine, led by Mary Devine, a fully qualified Equine Touch Practitioner who supports emotional wellbeing through the gentle, healing power of horses. Together, we’re creating safe, nurturing spaces for women and children impacted by domestic abuse, sexual abuse, trauma, and other life-altering challenges, where connection can happen without pressure or the need to retell painful experiences.

With the compassionate support of Mary, and the horses Molly and Benny, equine-based sessions can help build trust and boundaries, support emotional regulation and grounding, and offer a calm, non-judgemental presence for people living with anxiety, depression, autism and additional needs, or emotional and behavioural challenges, meeting each person exactly where they are.

 Etain Boyce Coaching

Etain Boyce Coaching is a valued collaboration with The Uplift Project, rooted in a simple truth: wellbeing is not just about “staying positive”, it’s about supporting the whole nervous system.  Etain is a Nervous System Regulation and Recovery Coach with both professional training and lived understanding of what recovery can require. After 20 years working as a lawyer, Etain’s own experience of fibromyalgia and ME/CFS led her to retrain in life coaching and nervous system regulation. The practices she now teaches were part of her personal healing journey and are at the heart of how she supports others today.

Through guided sessions, Etain offers practical, gentle tools to help the nervous system settle, regulate, and restore, including: Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping, Breathwork, Vagus nerve exercises, Somatic movement and body-based tracking, Meditation

With regular practice, these approaches can help reduce stress, ease anxiety, and support calm, emotional balance, and resilience. This work is not about pushing through. It’s about creating steadier ground inside the body, so change feels safer and more sustainable.

If you’d like to learn more about Etain Boyce Coaching through The Uplift Project, you’re welcome to explore the information in your own time. Support is here when you’re ready.

Arts & Crafts

Crafty Art With Olga is a gentle, welcoming collaboration between The Uplift Project and Olga, a former primary school teacher with 17 years of experience, offering relaxed arts and crafts sessions where creativity is explored in a calm, pressure-free way.

Through our Creative Connections Art Group, a small group of women connected with The Uplift Project come together in a safe, supportive space to create at their own pace, with no expectation to be “arty” and no focus on perfection, just openness, encouragement, and the joy of making something. These sessions can help build confidence, ease stress, reduce isolation, and strengthen connection, reminding each person that you don’t need to be an artist to belong, and support is there if and when you want it.

Reflexology

The Uplift Project is delighted to collaborate with Happy Feet by Louise, welcoming Louise, a fully qualified reflexologist with over 7 years of experience, into our community. Louise offers a calm, caring space where women can pause, reset, and feel gently supported, with reflexology using pressure points in the feet (and hands) to help ease stress and anxiety, improve sleep, support hormonal balance, boost circulation, and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.

As part of this collaboration, Louise will also be leading an exclusive 4-week hand massage course for The Uplift Project ladies, sharing practical, confidence-building skills that can support your own wellbeing and help you care for others, in a way that feels grounding and empowering.
